Work Based Learning
Coláiste Dhúlaigh College of Further Education is committed to the concept of work based learning and supporting the industries in our community. The College seeks to work with the employers and employees in the local area, to identify their training needs and thereby enable smaller companies and organisations to access training.
The college is a registered FAS Trainer and has experience in orking in cooperation with local Skillnets. We are available to work with local employers, helping them to Identify their staff training needs.
We have a broad experience of the challenges encountered by adults returning to education. Specific learning supports are available to make this transition easier. Many of the employees who have availed of this service have continued their education in the college.
Over the last year the college the college has provided courses for businesses ranging from Business Management and Leadership, Building Energy Rating at Fetac Level 5 and 6, Personal Effectiveness in the Workplace, Teambuilding, Care Support, Care Skills, Train the Trainer Manual Handling, Basic Computers, ECDL, Health and Safety to Database Management.
