Special Needs Assistant
FETAC Award (Level 5)This course is designed to provide learners with an understanding of the special needs area. Students will be given the knowledge, skills and competencies required for working with people in an educational or care environment.

All students who present for these courses will be given individual guidance by qualified tutors who are in a position to make recommendations as to what courses may suit their learning needs.
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
This course aims to prepare students for employment as Special Needs Assistant in Primary and Post Primary Schools and other care settings.
WORK PLACEMENT
Learners will complete a placement in an educational or care setting.
