YEAR 1
Mathematics, Software Development, Web Authoring, Communications and Multimedia Applications, Networks, Personal Effectiveness in the Workplace, Databases, Computer Illustrated Graphics.
YEAR 2
Software Development (Java), Programming Web Technology, Web Development, Digital Design, Enterprise Studies, Business Management, Work Placements, Communications and Digital Media

FETAC Level 5 and Level 6
DURATION
2 Years
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Leaving Certificate (minimum pass in ordinary level Maths) with minimum of Pass in Ordinary Level Maths and an interview. Mature students are welcome.
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
Students graduating from this course will be in a position to take up careers as web developers, software designers, administrators and technical salespersons. In addition, this programme includes a module on entrepreneurship. The aim of this module will be to assist learners to develop their own ideas into an app that they can self publish on the App Store/Android Market
This programme is provided with the support of FIT (Fasttrack into Technology) who will assist the participents with career advice, work placement and post placement support.
