This two-year course is designed to build the students confidence and skills in Networking, Computer Maintenance, Web Authoring and Electronics. The course has a high practical content to maximise and develop new skills.
Course Content
YEAR 1
Hardware Essentials, Software Systems, Networking Essentials, Electronics (Digital), Database Methods, Web Authoring, Communications and Work Placement.
YEAR 2
Network Models And Technologies, Systems Software 2, Client/Server Networks, Network Administration, Network Security, Web Authoring, Programming, Communications and Work Placement.

FETAC Level 5 & 6

2 Years
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Leaving Certificate (including LCA) and interviews, mature students are welcome.
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
