This is a one year course, which encompasses English as a second language, European Studies, Computer Applications and a Business module.
It is intended for international students who want to improve their English with a view to continuing their studies on other PLC courses, courses at Third Level or to seek employment.

English as a Foreign Language, European Studies, Word Processing, Internet and Web Design, Business Management, Communications, Work Placement.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Leaving Certificate or equivalent and interview.
Pre-intermediate/intermediate level of English.

The course equips students with skills for careers in Business or in Tourism.

Students who acquire the IELTS qualification in English can apply to Third Level colleges.
Students who meet the entry criteria in DCU will receive a round zero offer from the CAO for the course BA in Languages for international Communication- Englsh Studies. (This course is for non-native speakers of English: CAO code: DC156)
